clutch switch prob.

Just replaced clutch switch due to it leaving me stranded and only working when it wants. Now the new one is doing the same and car will not start. Anybody else with this prob before?

Could it be a bad plugin connector?

After replacing the switch once, that's where I'd look next.

Maybe the mounting bracket is bent.

What would mounting bracket have to do with it? I have it off it and just pushed the pin in to start It

If it were bent, it wouldn't allow the switch to push in far enough. Try bending it towards the contact point.

Like I just said that doesn't matter I have it off the braket and it still works. The car will only turn on once. If I turn it off then try to start it again it won't start.
