Differential oil change

So had my gears installed at local shop was told to change out oil after 500 miles I found a how to online but on the fill plug looks weird don't know how to remove it or if it fell off either way I can't get oil inside an I already drained it all out by removing the cover an cleaned it an put on the sealant gasket the pic is where your suppose to fill her up

I think it's like a 3/8 drive ratchet. Or 1/2, can't remember

Usually just put the ratchet in and turn. That looks to be a 1/2" drive

That looks like 1/2". Just put a ratchet or ratchet with short extension in there and remove it. Most of the fill plugs I've seen are rubber or plastic and just press in and seal themselves in the cover, though I haven't paid attention to the rearend on my Mustang to see how it's set up.

4.10 an yes big difference in acceleration an mpg lol
