Exhaust modifications effect on mileage

I've been thinking about changing the exhaust system and airbox on my 06 GT to boost HP, but what effect might this have on gas mileage? I'm used to half assed mileage from the 8 cylinder, but will such mods make it much worse? I may make the mods anyway, but it would be nice to know what the deal is ahead of time.

A Less Restrictive Intake and Free Flowing Exhaust + A Tuner (SCT Preferably) Is just about always going to have an increase in partial throttle MPG, the problem with increased HP and throttle response is you always want to have your foot buried into the pedal which results in less MPG lol ... Window Sticker was 24MPG I believe on my 05GT and I have been able to get 29MPG on a drive from Tulsa, OK to Colorado Springs, CO with the mods below in my signature. However I estimate I was probably getting around 1 MPG on Pikes Peak with the pedal on the floor

And that is with a Brenspeed Tune? My 93oct Tune from them drank gas and idled awful...Whatever works though, maybe I just got a bad calibration, tried to follow up and got the "It's not our tune" response.

That is good to hear, they are kind of hit and miss I think, I may try calling them at some point to see if they will just start over and send me a fresh tune file.

I misunderstood, I thought you were saying 26 combined. It was late when I read it, my bad.

Idk haha good oil, proper tire pressure, clean air filter, and tune

It does good on the highway and around town I know it's possible to get 17-18 if I don't let it idle so long before and after work, I just don't like driving with the trans cold
