Aluminum block

Well I took my block in today to get machined and found out that it is aluminum. It totally doesn't look like it. So I don't know if they are all like that or not.

Ok. I had no idea. Can they hold 650-700hp?

Not really sure. From what I've heard that's the ragged edge.

the block can handle 20 psi of boost and over 700 hp, however your crank, connecting rods an pistons can not..

Ok well I'm replacing those anyways. What's stronger? The iron block or aluminum?

Iron, but it weighs to much for a mustang. I think the alum motors make the nose weight 51%, anything more is not gona be the safest car out there.
