Question about springs...

I am wondering if 99-04 lowering springs will work on 05-09. I know that the company will tell you no, but is that to sell more or cause they really can't? The only reason I ask is because I bought some springs for my car and they are for a 99-04, not 05-09. I have a 06 GT. the springs are H&R Super Sport lowering springs. Model # 51652.77. I know a stupid question, but I had to ask. Thanks
