What you guys think next mod should be?

I have a 06 gt with roush body kit. Put 410's in cai and tuner udp and lowered car 1.5 all around. Looking for the next thing I can do. Shifter will be next mgw but wanted to do something else over winter. What you guys think. L/t but which ones and what mid pipe. What about injectors our coil packs, or is that just for when you get f/i. Kinds don't know where to go next for most horse power. Not my daily so can be down for awhile.

Thanks guys

I would definitely go with long tube headers and midpipe. Just depends on how much you want to spend on it. American Racing Headers and Kooks Headers are the two best but will cost more. Pypes, BBK, JBA, Hooker Headers are cheaper but also still pretty good. The midpipe you have to decide if you want cats or not. And if you have emissions. Injectors and coil packs you don't need to touch until you go with a supercharger.

+1 on LT's. If you don't have emissions, do an Offroad H.

Stang23 is spot on with his brand recommendations as well.

You should probably do a FRPP intake and TB with some cams while you are at it. Might as well

Ya definitely do an offroad h pipe if you don't need to worry about emissions. Cams and intake manifold would be a good choice as well.

H sounds deeper, X is a little raspier. H supposedly gives a little bit of extra torque and allegedly X will give you a couple extra peak HP. I recommend listening to a few and deciding based off sound. The performance difference is minimal.

Typically H is deeper toned than an X!.. But it also depends on the type of muffler your using!.. Mufflers are a bigger player in how your car sounds then the Mid Pipe!.. Both show identical HP and Torque gains in the low to mid range, but the X will show about 2+ in the upper range over the H!..

Cut-outs aren't a bad option if you have very mild mufflers and want to be able to switch to an extreme exhaust flow/tone at the flip of a switch. Personally, I've always gone with a quiet muffler and an O/R Xpipe with cut-outs. This is the best setup IMO.

Check out our Pypes electric cut-outs that you can weld into any dual exhaust system!

I like cut-outs, my buddy has them. But I always wondered how you would tune for them?
