No, that's base HP. Maybe 450-460 at the wheels. Depends on your clutch and flywheel set-up. The lighter the flywheel, the more available power you'll have to the wheels. That's what my mechanic told me anyway. I went from a stock 30lb dual mass flywheel to a solid 14.5lb flywheel on my Spec-V, and my 1/4 time improved by 3/10.

I dynoed it.. And only got 296.9 rwhp

What should I be looking at if I get a dyno tune

Also getting charge motion deletes and some under drive pulleys..what should that put me with a dyno tune? What am I doing wrong??

I'm new to mustangs.. V8's completely, thought it sad easy to put down numbers
Are you still catted? You're not doing anything wrong. The dyno of 296 can't be called bad or good unless you had a before dyno run on the same dyno. For all your know would have dynoed 200WHP and gained 96WHP get what I mean?

Numbers are comparative, and dyno numbers are RELATIVELY consistent but not guaranteed. Dyno tune should bump you another 8-10WHP across the board which is better.

And FI, and really ANY mods will decrease the life of the engine versus what it would have been stock but that could be from 500k to 400k. Nothing that would make it a no go.
