Ford GT fuel pump in a 2006 mustang gt?

i saw a forum where some guy said he put a ford GT fuel pump in his cobra, what does this do? do you gain any horsepower and is it possible with all mustangs?

Ford GT fuel pump in a 2006 mustang gt?

The stock in tank fuel pump is sufficient for stock engines. If the engine is modified to use more fuel such as bigger injectors, manifolds,heads etc, then you should upgrade your fuel delivery system to keep up with the demand for fuel but adding a high flow pump will not by itself increase horse power.

You can but you wont see any gains, it is mainly used in boosted cars.
