It's the wms intake it costs about 309 for the 90mm intake I'm still missing the ram air box tho. And No it's not stock. Iv got an off road x pipe and a set of custom magnaflow muffler deletes axel backs. Iv also got a throttle body spacer and a Bama tuner, a front and lower tower supurt brace. 4.10 gears and Bmr lower control arms. And custom foose rims

Nice I don't know how much difference it would make but you ever thought about putting a gt 500 throttle body for your gt I had one and a long time ago and it was pretty cool. It's not to big but much bigger then stock and looks pretty cool too.

So that intake you have is a ram air intake was there a big difference from stock. I had an 06 a couple years ago and I wanted to get that intake cuz it was different and seemed like you would get more of a gain with a tune. But ended getting a truck so never had the chance.

I thought about it when I had a 2006 but I have a 2013 gt now so I'm not gonna do anything with the intake till I supercharge. I'm gonna start modding for handling and suspension

So here are some numbers. If you go from 3.55 to 3.73 gears at 75 mph you will increase rpm's by 5%. If you go from 3.55 to 4.10 gears at 75 mph you will increase rpm's by 15%.

Cool Gear change

Like most stang owners my factory gear set was removed after 1000 miles to get a better "seat in the pants " acceleration. I went from 2.73 to 3.73 then when I started to loose that set up on a trip from Philly to Va I bagged the 3.73 and went with 4.10's. I always felt that was the best set up for daily use and track runs if you run it. I was told by several speed shops in my area that 4.10 will give you the best bang for the buck. Good luck.

Is one going to really notice a difference in acceleration having 3:73 gears instead of 3:55 gears on an 11 plus sixer.

i think they are in terms of acceleration. mpg's, no. i have them and for the 1/4 4th gear runs out right before the line. power mods will fix that but i think 3.73's are good
