Is it better to buy pre-painted parts

Im looking into buying quarter window louvers and was wondering if it would just be better to find the paint and paint half price unpainted ones myself

Also my 09 gt has the silver stock wheels and was wondering if you would recommend getting those painted black

If your car spends a lot of time in the sun, I think color matching would be difficult. It'd probably be best to have them blended to your car at a body shop.
