side scoops

Has anyone bought the new MMD pre- painted side scoops? I love the way they look, but have a feeling they won't hold up to all the air being forced in them. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Even for the louvers, I went and got a much better quality and wider tape to put them in. If I got them, I would just plan on getting a good band an grade of tape.

Looks stick on, but I did not remove any of the hood lining to see yet. It is also pushing the hood down in the center a bit. Fishing line and goo gone get it done you think?

Cool...I'll park it in the sun for a bit, and give it a shot...don't have a hair dryer.

Damnit...looks like the paint on the hood is somewhat marred where the scoop comes into contact with it...I either have to leave this eyesore on or remove it and see damaged stripes...both options suck.

I really want to get the CDC shaker system but the trim ring won't cover up my factory scoop.

You do, I really want a functional scoop. Don't think I would have the heart to butcher my hood tho.
