| Max power the stock block and internals can tak
I have a 2005 gt Im wanting to put a turbo kit turbonetics kit or a hellion kit on. I was thinking dual t3, or t4s but I want to know how much the stock setup can handle. I plan on building the motor eventually

That's what I was thinking, I want to try to keep it around 425 or so until I build the motor

most say 450 with a rich tune is safe, the internals of those GT's are not forged so gotta be careful. In the end its all about the tune (if its done right) and how you treat it.

OP,
I would stay in the 425-440rwhp range. Anymore and you're really pushing the bottom end. Plus, if you plan on doing a lot of 5th gear pulls, I would stay close to 420rwhp range. Cast pistons do not like extended cycles of heat!

Thanks that helps a lot, I just hadn't seen much on what the stock 3vs can handle

Good info to know..was wondering that myself as im trying to decide if I want to keep and build up my 07 or get a 5.0. If I can get near the 425 range without having to build the motor to take it might just keep it.

450 is the max I would try and test it with. I know there is a FRPP blower kit that makes 530 HP, but that would make me pretty nervous.

Brenspeed has a kit that they quote as 560hp on the 05-10 4.6. Sheer insanity!
