Exhaust rattle?

When starting in 1st all the way through 3rd up to 3k I have this annoying rattle that it sounds like to be coming from the exhaust around the transmission area, could it be the hangers? Or something else I am missing.

Have you done anything to the exhaust?

Sorry forgot to mention that, no I have not. All I have is axle backs but they were welded on by previous owner. So that is most likely out of the question.

I mean it could be the hangers or maybe the over axle pipe. I'd look for signs of running on the spare tire well under the car and the hangers that are right before the rear part of the frame.

I have looked underneath a few times and couldn't find anything that's rubbing or looks out of place. I am out of possibilities lol.

I had the same problem when I bought mine, one day it just started rattling, turns out the mufflers had like a crack in them that would Rattle. So I had those replaced. I couldn't notice where it was until I got the car on a lift

I'll have to check into it more this weekend, I am pretty positive it's not the mufflers but I could be wrong.

It's the plate that goes between the motor and bellhousing,, there is a TSB on it, tranny has to come out and there are rubber bushings that get put in, my 05 does the same thing!

Now that you say that I remember that there was a TSB on something similar. Do you know where I could find it?

I was going to say it's probably the heat shields above the tranny, but looks like you found a TSB for it lol. I guess mine was fixed, I've never heard that!
