Maybe it's also the dyno that's reading it low

Is it auto or manual

That's about right. You won't hit in the 300's with those mods on a 3v. You need cams

Actually that is pretty respectable considering the only performance mods you have are a CAI and a tune. Cams and long tubes would push you over the edge..

That's about right. My 06 stock was 265. CAI and tune bumped me up to 288.

A 3V can easily hit 300 WHP with SHORTIES and Intake/tune.

What we are not remembering here is that the dyno is only a tuning tool. Example, had his before dyno been 240whp, it would be in line with his low dyno in general and a wheel gain of 40+ would be just where in needs to be.

Dynos with no before and after are to be taken with a grain of salt to be safe until an ET is produced.

What were the conditions OP? You could try just a dyno run without tuning somewhere else but many with 300WHP also run 93, not 91.

Additionally, if you only had one run, there isn't another to put it up against. Do not be too disappointed.

Different dynos and dyno operators will get different readings. My similarly modded '07 Roush posted 297RWHP on a DYNOCOM Eddy-current dyno, but 2 weeks later only did 267 on a Mustang dyno. I would not worry about it.

I wouldn't listen to them personally. You can always do more to the car and get it to where you want to be. Luckily most of my friends drive mustangs so I don't have to hear that crap the ones with other muscle cars have already been taken out by my buddys 03 mach 1 so not a lot of trash talkers in our group from non ford people haha.

Clearly people who have no clue about cars except throwing exhaust on every car.

That's why they advertise HP at the crank. Most people don't understand the difference for RWHP. The 1/4 usually explains it best.

Throw some LTs on there and you will see 300.

You can't be disappointed if you didn't have a baseline number. Dynos differ from place to place and are only good for tuning. The number is arbitrary.

Those numbers arent bad. Just like someone said earlier throw some LTs on and some charge motion delete plates run a 93 race tune and some under drive pullies and you should be a lil over 300

Dynos are just tools. Don't take it that hard. I've seen 270 rwhp and 343 rwhp same mods a week apart. It all comes down to the dyno. That all said, that's the meanest dynojet I've ever seen.
