CAI deal or no deal?

hoping i can trust you guys to not go and swoop on this from me if its a legit deal, i need your help on deciding if this would be worth it for and intake. i guess its a jlt, not sure what model or whatever or if its tune required or not, so im asking you guys.

so it is tune required? i only have 60 bucks at the moment so id get just the intake. what would happen if i used it without a tune?

If its a real JLT than its a good deal, you don't need a tune but if you get one you will feel the real gains from having a CAI

Alright cool, i think what i might do is get the intake and get a tuner for my birthday in june. Thanks for the help!

That tool kits a really good deal I'd get that, the intake is JLTs old design

This looks like a JLT series II. Looks like it is missing the PVC connector hose. No worries you can buy a length of hose at a parts store. This CAI definitely requires a tune because the MAF housing is larger diameter than stock.

Agree you will need a tune. But its still not bad for the price. Just dont put it on till you get a tuner
