Nothing against the 4.6's, thats what i have. But why not go with the 5.0 Coyote? Much more raw power and potential.

^ i agree it would be more expensive but it would be worth it since you are already putting the work in.

Yeah, if price wasnt an option, I'd definitely throw a Coyote under my hood. Lol. But i'm trying to hold out for a while longer and see what the 2015 mustangs are going to look like. Be nice to be one of the first people to own the new platform.

I mean I'd love to have the 5.0! Even thought about dropping an LS motor in it(I've never seen an s197 with LS swap). But I know the guy I bought the 4.6 from and I got the tranny driveshaft, heads, wiring harness, ecu, speedo, dash, center console, and the whole motor was assembled. I just wanna rebuild it to be safe and I wanna push mad power. I got it for 2k. The guy I bought it from did the coyote swap and holy s**t! That car yanks so hard and he procharged it. He ran an 11.3 while spilling oil down the track on street tires

An 11.3 procharged? He should look at getting a better tune. My buddy has a 5.0 with 4.10's, exhaust, CAI, and a tune. He ran an 11.47...not procharged. Your guy should be hitting 10's no problem. But on the other hand, good luck with you build dude. Your gonna love that V8!! Its nice to crank it up and hear that baby rumbling. Especially since you're building that motor....badass! Post pics once the swap is done, I wanna see this monster. You should look into some ford racing cams. Give it a nice lopey rumble.

Definitely! Ford Racing Products are well made. But Brenspeed cams are supposed to be excellent as well. I like how both of them sound. They idle hard, but as soon as you give them gas it runs just like it normally would. Thats probably the biggest mod ill put on my stang. My build List: Cams, 3.73 gears, Headers, Exhaust, And have it tuned. I've got the JLT CAI with a bama street tune right now. I just want about 350whp.

If your going for power do not do the motha thumprs. There are many other cams out there that make a lot better gains. Or I would do a custom grind cam
