Been researching CAI's

The only one I can find that flat out says carb legal is the bbk, and of course it's the most expensive intake tuner bundle I've found. You guys know any other that are legal?

Nvm I went ahead and bought the bbk blackout with the Bama tuner 87/87/91 tune. Now looking for a good sounding muffler fairly cheap since there will be almost no gain in power there.

SLP "Loudmouth", or Pypes "Pype Bomb" if you want a nice LOUD rumble. But if you want modest sound Ford FR500S axle back is nice. all between $340-$550. SLP will be one of the loudest. Very Nice!

The SLP and pype bombs are both muffler deletes so they will be really LOUD! I have the pype bombs and try sound awesome!! They both sound great but if you don't want too loud, get an exhaust with a muffler. Here's my link for reference.

Why are you so worried about being carb legal? If it passes smog that's all that really matters

don't necessarily need mufflers to pass smog...just keep make sure you keep your cats or get highflow cats.

I say go with the Pype Bomb. You shouldn't have any problem passing the smog test.
