Lowering springs

New to site. I searched but didn't see a answer to my question. Getting set to lower my 06 GT. After I lower it do I need to wait a week or more before having a alignment done?

Not really. You can lower it and get it aligned right away if you want but also won't hurt to wait a week. What springs are you going to use?

Wait a week because it has to settle. If u align it right after, it will just get lower as it settles and then u will have to align it again

Nice man, looks great! Love those side louvers, same ones I have lol.

One suggestion though, I put some 3/8" spacers on my wheels and they really filled out the wheel wells compared to how they were stock and lowered. We have the same wheels so I can vouch that they look perfect with that bit of a spacer.

Doesn't do it too great of justice but there is a difference lol.

Wow that looks awesome! How's the ride quality with the SR's? Did you replace the shocks/struts? I bought the same springs a couple months ago and are still sitting in my basement...looking for some feedback

JJ, did you just put the springs and panhard on? Did your pinion angle change at all? and what size wheel/tires are you running? I'm paranoid still about dropping mine and having rub, I've got 255/45, 285/40 front/back on 18s. I'm also going to put new LCAs and adjustable UCA, Koni STR.T, GT500 strut mounts, and ford racing bump stops. Will I need to buy the camber bolts? Sorry for all the questions but I just want to be 100% before I start ripping my baby apart. This will be my first time with a major suspension build.

Yea I just added springs and panhard bar. Running 255/45/18s all the way around. Taking in Monday for alignment. Sounds like you have everything covered. Good luck
