I would have saved thousands. I also may not have built if I SCed first.

If I SC the car from stock, I could easily run high 11s. Build the engine, and just run more power with no other mods. Period.

The N/A build has been very fun.

Initially I wanted to just keep it n/a, bore and stroke the block to a 302 and paint it like the old school boss 302, but knowing me I'd want more after that so Im back to square one with how I want my car to look while work on getting all the original N/A mods done and throw on a whipple.

Boring on the 3v is very iffy. 301 and change is the absolute safe maximum. I am stroking it to a 298 but will still throw a 5.0 badge on a near 4.9 lol

Well the GTR emblem is often due to the RB swap which IS from a GTR.

That is just an opinion. It is a factual emblem. No different than people glung scoops to heir mustangs. ESPECIALLY the non functional 1/4 pane scoops.

Yeah, it can go on and on. Whatever helps the posers sleep at night. In your case, putting a 5.0 badge on a 4.9; i dont see anything wrong with that. I like the N/A builds. IMO, its almost as rewarding as working out and not using roids to get buff. Nothing against s/c, but thats too easy to do. I'd rather see a n/a build with some thought and heart put into it.

That's how I felt, hence why I want to do as much as I can N/A then sc it to put it over the top.

I looked at brenspeed, but I have bought everything from American Muscle. Including my programmer so I was worried about tuning. Then I also used a lot of FRPP parts in the past. I know the quality....OE. I also do not have too install phase blockers with Hot Rods Cams. Wish me luck anyway thanks for all of your input.

Let us know how it works for you. I'm still on the fence between FRPP or Brenspeed cams myself (im still leaning more to FRPP).

I have the FRPP Hot Rod Cams, as I said before, and have no complaints. As for my future build and if I knew then what I know now I'd go with the Brenspeed cams and saved myself some time and money.

Brenspeed cams do not need phase limiters either.

Ok, but the Brenspeed still doesn't need phase limiters as you stated.
