interior light on instrument cluster wont go off - Mustang Evolution

interior light on instrument cluster wont go off

I have an 08 gt and my open door light wont go off, i have checked both doors multiple times. Does anybody have any suggestions.

You could Disconnect the battery to reset the computer. I would try that

Well the trunk was not shut properly, theyre was a 18 pack of bud light stopping it. thanks for the help.

check that little guage to the left of the steering wheel i believe it is where you can adjust how bright your lights are...if you turn it all the way up it keeps the lights on all the time, turn it down just a little bit and you'll feel it click a little so that it will only be on when it's supposed to

unless youre talking about a warning light, but i'm talking about that light that goes on overhead when your door is open

Glad I could help. The trunk not being shut will also give you a two horn honk warning when you try to lock with the key fob. Almost missed a movie as I'm trying to lock my car and finally figured out my trunk had accidentally been opened!
