CEL is on?

Ok so I just put my bbk cai and Bama 91 race tune and my cel is still on. Says its running lean. I thought the tune was suppose to eliminate that. Thanks.

Maybe dumb question, but did you enter the CAI in your tune parameters or just install it and load the tune?

If you did enter the CAI, then you should check to make sure that the connection at the throttle body is tight. IF you're getting a little more airflow than you're supposed to it will give you a CEL.

Could be a dirty MAF or plugged up fuel filter. I changed/cleaned those on my GT when it said it was running lean. and the light hasn't come back in after I cleared the code.

You might go through the parameters and make sure they entered the CAI.
Those hose clamps aren't always the best, mine got loose after a few months and was throwing CEL. The oval shape of the throttle body, you have to really tighten the hell out of them without twisting the band clamp head off.

We can definitely look into this for you. It could be a couple different things, I would start by cleaning the MAF and Throttle body! If it is within the tune, we can get you a revision sent out right away. We send out thousands of tunes and build them all from the ground up for your PCM code and your mods. They're not just "canned" tunes, they're built custom by our team, so every once in a while it's possible we mess one up! We'll definitely get it straightened out for you, though! Give one of our Bama Tuning Specialists a call and they'll work with you to figure out exactly what's going on.

Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST
