If you're like me, and prefer Ford parts, here's the part number for the OEM Hood Scoop (off of my large Ford part numbers document, price may change/be changed).

SCOOP ASY - HOOD; 7R3Z16C630AAPTM; $250.00

Edit: Here's a link to a diagram + cheaper price

You don't have a heat gun or blow dryer laying around anywhere?

No. I live by myself and I shave my head. No blow dryer. Never had a need for a heat gun either...and it was 101 in phx today, left my car outside for 12 hrs.

I tried to get it off...as soon as I drag the fishing line to either side of the scoop with any pressure, it slices the string. I have no idea what else to try, man.
