Department Of Boost?

Has anyone else heard of DOB? Whats your guys' feedback and thoughts? Thinking about this kit over an On3 turbo upgrade. What is the stock GT500 blower rated to (power)?

I think it's a unique deal and an awesome looking adapter but personally I'm not really into the searching for all the extra parts needed for the install , but there is a guy on S197 forum that has one more complete kit left but he might have sold it already haven't been on there in a week. However power wise it's plenty for a stock 3V and cheaper than any other roots type setup. But about the same now as a vortech kit or Paxton.

They have a website.
This kit ( install ) is not for beginners.
A stock 2011 GT500 is rated @ 550hp, gave me 481.4rwhp.

If you forged the bottom end, could you get a smaller pulley and make more boost?

Ya you could. But you can only spin that blower so much before it limits you on power.

Not exactly sure off the top of my head. I'm pretty sure it's about 500-550

Do you know if the tvs unit could be sold, keep the dob manifold and just buy a whipple unit?

The 2011 MY 5.4 has forged pistons, crankshaft, & connection rods..
The last dyno done in Feb. 2012 showed boost @ 22.59.
