I'd go 3.31 or 3.73 but it really depends on your trans and the gears in it

No the guy that screwed up the 1st initial install screwed some fittings and certain parts of my car. Everytime we think we've found it all there's more to be discovered. He had absolutely no clue what he was doing.

He's a d bag for taking your car out for a joy ride in the first place. That must have been an awkward phone call lol

No I happened to be driving by RIGHT after it happened. It was very awkward. I was so pissed. I left and he had to push the car back to his shop by himself.

You are one patient individual my friend. Reading this thread makes me pissed off, Idk how you do it. Btw I have been following this project from the beginning. It is safe to say that all of us hate the mofo that you originally brought your car to, what a complete @sshole.

You and me both. I'm still so worried about the exhaust though. I heard straight pipes on a turbo don't sound too bad, I'm gonna remove the mufflers to get a sample and see.

To me catted sounds better. I've had both. Catless for power and volume, catted for deep rumble. I'll never go Catless on the boss unless I turn it into a pure track car.

But see its better to have as little restrictions as possible with a turbo. I'm definitely gonna get a straight through design muffler if I get any. The chambered Pypes Violators just don't sound too good with this setup, they're deep but way too quiet for my personal taste.

True. I personally liked the Pype-Bombs on my 3.7 with o/r Pypes it was just to loud for a DD. that's why I got the Pypes cat back for my boss but I have yet to install it to see how it sounds. I can't wait to hear them. I love the stock exhaust on the boss but I got a steal on this catback so I figured it was worth it to see how it sounds

Yea I really like the pypes bombs, just not familiar with how they'll sound on a turbo mustang. A turbo just makes axleback shopping so much more difficult man I swear lol. The turbo acts as a damn good muffler itself but the tone of the y pipe sounds horrible with some axlebacks.

To be honest I've always found it hard to find a GREAT sounding 3v turbo car.. I guess it's the shorty headers and "air blowing" sound a turbo makes.. I wish you could run long tubes with a turbo!

The manifolds (headers) are piped directly to the turbo so the manifolds must be short due to lack of space under the hood.
