Good thing about this kit is if the turbo turns out to he a POS then he can just ditch it, and buy a new turbo for $600 and be still be up for price

Another good thing is if this turbo turns out to be a POS and grenades like I've seen happen twice with these turbos, it will only throw shrapnel into his engine and he can buy a whole new engine and new turbo for $X,XXX. And all because he wanted to save a couple bucks over a proven kit.

---------- Post added at 12:59 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:56 PM ----------

And no numbers yet, I'm at the bottom of a long list to get on the dyno, on the bright side I did order a Hurst short throw today, hopefully it's as amazing as everyone says.

He saved over $3, 000. So if this did happen (god forbid), he could part out what's left for $500 and still have $3, 500 wih parting and savings, buy a new turbo, $4-500 and then a brand new forged short block for $3, 000 and run high boost and 700+ horsepower..... and still have $100 left or break even! Looks like a win/win to me!

Y'all go right ahead and put that one your car. And when it blows and you have no money to fix it. Remember this post.

Really...
At this point there's no point trying to convince any of you guys of anything other than "On3 Turbos are a good deal, even if it fails I'm still ahead"
Even if I went threw the trouble of getting you guys pics, they would quickly be discredited. So whatever.
I'll do the grown up thing and bow out of this thread, you guys have your fun. Keep hope alive!

Why does anyone care of the quality he bought. Its his car. If I bought a grenade and it made my car run faster, as long as I'm willing to risk it then its a good choice. Everyone needs to hop off his stick

No need to even listen to certain people my thing is if you don't have one. How can you say something is a piece of crap. Forums are a good place for getting ideas and hearing some experiences but If I like something I go with it and ask someone who had the product first. Just my .02

That's true but a valued opinion means two totally different things. He took it the wrong way and bashed a pretty dang decent product. In my own opinion I wouldn't get the on3 because my friend got one and half the stuff he got was bent or cracked. The turbo housing was cracked about an inch down the side. On3 makes a good cheap product and that's what you'll get. A good cost effective way to force induct your car. It's risky but hey... Would we be driving a mustang if not for the risk??
