Are you getting funds to a new bottom end and the labor to get the motor put back together from the shop that went against your wishes?

Actually it wasn't the turbo that blew the motor, it was the installer driving it too hard without a dyno tune. Read the full comment before voicing your opinion next time.

Man that sucks I would have tripped right out driving it with no tune thats just a dumby move right there but don't give up when that monsters done then it'll be worth it and with that forged block you'll be able to put some good numbers down good luck man

I was gonna go with mmr but now I'm seeing a couple comments saying to get a dart block. What's so good about their product that mmr doesn't have? I'm clueless right now.

---------- Post added at 11:28 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:24 AM ----------

Yea thanks, they supplied me with a tune to drive it. Just wasn't suppose to go into boost until on the dyno.

Dart blocks are simply the best. IMO. Dnt have one but have researched blocks to see what is best. When the cars are paid off, I will buy a foxbody and use a dart block. Anyway, search what the best block is and u will see time after time, Dart. They are just about perfectly made by one guy and one master mechanic. They can take whatever u can throw at them.

They seem to be a little more pricey compared to mmr though.

The price difference is well worth it from everything I've read. Find Scottydsntknow and he can tell u the specifics. I think he has talked about it once in a thread. There are real differences.

It's hard to get a pic of the hole in the block without pulling the motor but I'll see what I can do.
