Dropped my car off today and we now know exactly why the motor blew. The oil lines On3 included were way too small and the motor didn't get enough oil. So thank you On3 performance, you will be receiving a call from me soon.

Welp after even further observation this isn't on On3 after all, it's totally on the installer for going into boost. Here's pics of the destruction.

Well it would piss me off but in the end I would be happy because of a complete built engine free from mmr and I might twin turbo it

Well Idk about free but yea this block from mmr is nice, they did send me the wrong head studs though. They offered to exchange them and pay for 3 day shipping though.

I'd buy a non-titles beater, no tags, no registration, wear gloves and drive it though his house. Then we would be even.

If he has a shop and no money I wouldn't consider it. But I highly doubt he doesn't have any money. Get a lawyer and see what he says

Lol it's a figure of speech. And if he doesn't have any money, you shouldn't have had him install it in the first place.

Valid point! He has money dont let him fool you. Screw this guy like he screwed you. This is a prime example of why I am the only one that works on my car.

He has money but not enough to cover a new block and heads. I would end spending more money for a lawyer than I would be getting from him.

Idk bro. 500$ for a lawyer or 2000$ worth of parts then 1000$ worth of labor. I dnt think I could just let him do it to me and then the next guy.

I would definitely be getting a lawyer, if he couldn't at least buy me the block and heads I would start to go after some assets of his and make sure I get my moneys worth. That is just me though, I do have a heart but it's a cruel world out there and he screwed you over, eye for an eye.

Yeah. I'm not sayin take food away from his kids or anything but If he can afford a professional shop, he has to he able to afford the consequences of messing somebodies stuff up. Don't say ur a mechanic if ur not. U took ur car to a professional to have a professional job done and he failed. If it was ur cousin and he was a shade tree mechanic, it would be different.

My point exactly, that's basically why I don't let anyone touch my car or work on it. It might not be perfect, it might have dings and dints and scratches, I mean it is my DD and for 21 paying for my own stuff it's awesome. But I won't let some mechanic whether he owns the shop or someone getting paid 8.50 an hour to touch my car. I would rather mess it up myself and blame myself rather than have to deal with an airhead that won't own up to his mistakes.

+1. But it's sounds like the dispute between the OP and 1st shop has come to an end so no use in going on about i woulds.

Can't wait to see the updates as this bad boy progresses OP! You're going to have a mean piece of sweet machinery to cruise around in! Thats for damn sure

I know for real though! I want a new build under my hood! haha. Just the short block and heads themselves I would be happy with!
