Another exhaust question

Ok so Iv been trying to figure out where I want to go with my exhaust. I've been looking at the pypes offroad H, but my dad tells me I'd be better off getting a full custom exhaust done. If I did the custom I'd go 3" cat back with stock cats. I have Flowaster American Thunders. What do you guys think I'd get a better sound from?

No need for the cat back in my opinion... you would be just replacing pipe. Go on you tube and listen to audio clips and choose what sound you like best. I personally like the sound of the O/R Prochamber better than the O/R H but It all depends on the driver.

O/R pro chamber is sick especially with LTs. I would suggest going to a car or mustang meet and listening to some exhaust sound in person. YouTube is ok but doesn't do them justice sometimes.

Here's what inspired the exhaust on my 07.

I would go LT but I can't in Cali. I was told the mid pipes are easy to swap out so I wanna do an o/r. About those car meets that's a good idea. They have one every Tuesday where I'm at so I'm going to start going.

Who said you can't in Cali? If you still have cats with the LT's you'll pass smog

Long Tubes are not legal in California. I was at JBA speed shop, home of JBA headers, here in San Diego this afternoon and they said that all long tubes are illegal in this state.

Thank you. And where in SD are you? I'm in Temecula. About 45 minutes to an hour from San Diego.

I'm in Mira Mesa. JBA is in Kearny Mesa. The guys down there said that the state of California doesn't allow Long Tubes at all. Hey manufacture long tubes, but they aren't legal here. JBA does sell a really nice shorty header though and the quality is top notch.
