Need basic help with rims

Hi, I have a 2009 GT Mustang. Putting new wheels and rims on. My wheels are 18" 8. I cannot find the Saleen rims (or equivalent) with an 8 offset. Can I use the 9's or 10's and what would that mean the looks of the car and performance? Thanks for your help.

Not sure what you mean by 8 offset, are you talking about 8" width?

I have the Factory 18" fan blades on my car they are 18x8.5" wide not 8 they have a 50mm offset I beleave the factory 18" Bullets are the same .
Most aftermarket 9" wheels run a 30mm backspace or offset this means they will put the wheel and tire out close to the fender lip for a meaner look.
I installed 1" or 25mm wheel spacers on my car with the factory wheel witch would be the same as if my stock wheels only had 25mm offset instead of 50mm

Sorry, yes I meant the width is 8. I found Saleen's at 9. Can I use them or will this cause a problem?

Yes, I misstated the question. I want to know if I can use 9" width instead of 8's?

Just so I am clear, I can use 9's instead of 8's and won't have a problem? The guy at the tire store seemed a little unsure, but he told me I could not use 9's. My problem is the Saleen rims I want are only in 18/9. Thanks in advance.

You should be fine. As log as the offset isn't to low you'll be fine with the 9".
