It's people like you that make me sick...
Not really :p

He asked how to do something, not would it be cheaper to?

It's like any auto to manual thread
Everyone says "just sell it and buy a manual"
none of them know what all is actually needed, so they say," it would be cheaper to..."

Yea cause ive always wondered that.since I have a 10 gt I've always thought the motor would fit but then started thinking thats alot of cash to throw down.it could go towards a built motor and s/c or a 5.0 and just s/c.but either way good article and nice thought though

There is a guy with a 07 "V6" in my town. (It's an undercover Cobra) I thought I was going to be AWESOME one day and blow by him on the highway. No sooner after I passed him, here he comes Screaming by.....I was doing 80. I caught up to him in town and flashed him to pull into Walmart. Sure enough, he popped the hood and there she sat - a beautiful 5.4 Modular. He said he converted it about six months ago. Took him two months to get everything right. But if you saw it in the parking lot, it just looks like a plain old 6.

How is that an under cover cobra? No cobra has a 5.4 besides the R.

07-12 gt500's have a dohc mod 5.4 w/sc. 13+ have a dohc mod 5.8 w/sc. 93/94/95 cobra is pushrod 5.0. 93r has pushrod 5.0 (i think). 95r has pushrod 5.8. 96-99 and 01 cobra have dohc mod 4.6. 00r has dohc mod 5.4. 03/04 cobra have doh mod 4.6 w/sc.

I know man, lol. I'm just messing with 1lowGT. Even though they say GT500, they are still Cobras.

I would love that also. I have always thought about doing that because for whatever reason I prefer the 05-09 body style but would love the 11+ drivetrain. Would be cool to have the 5.0 emblems on the sides also and see people's reactions until I pop the hood lol.

It doesn't say Cobra, because it is licensed by Shelby. But it bears the Cobra Emblems and is produced by SVT. Some people still refer to them as Cobras. I know they are not "technically" Cobras, but there's no need to nit-pick. If the guy wants to call it his undercover Cobra, let him. No harm no foul.

How about those new Cobra Jets?? Saw one on a flat bed a couple weeks ago outside of New Orleans. I'd like to get behind the wheel of that baby!

Are you sure thats a real cobra jet? They are damn near impossible to make legal for street use. Even after you get all the emissions stuff worked out you still will have hell with their so called "VIN#".

You can probably pull off a 4.6/supercharged for less than what you would pay for a coyote.
