I had mine off for about a week and I loved the sound. My wife on the other hand said it sounded more like a truck though.

I had mine off while I was waiting for my exhaust to come in. Got a lot of positive comments on how it sounded with no mufflers lol

I took my stock mufflers off while I was waiting for my Pype Bombs to be shipped. It's pretty loud, sounds good, but looks bad with no tips. The sound is just about identical to the Pype Bombs. Fair warning though...The tips of the midpipe bounce around really bad with no axleback/stock mufflers on there, so be careful going over large bumps and railroad tracks. The sound of exhaust pipes smacking your rear end isn't a nice sound. Good luck.
