Cdc classic chin spoiler from AM

I finally pulled the trigger on the CDC chin spoiler. I've been looking at these for awhile and finally said why not after seeing a few on here and locally. Should be here on Wednesday. Ill update with pics when it's installed.

I love mine and they do give it a very clean aggressive stance!!!

Just FYI don't trust the 3 m tape as the only thing to hold it! Mine came off when I was over a hundred! And it was destroyed luckily I have experience fixing abs plastic and after I got all the part off the road I got it back together.. When fixed I put 4 extra screws on the bottom of it to keep air from getting I between the CDC and the car underneath!!! Just FYI but it looks great

I had two in the sides by the front tires and the corners of the plastic where it wraps around the edge of the bumper broke that is a weak spot on both sides so I put 4 oem screws in the bottom of the air dam under the front. you can still remove the bumper with out taking the chin off. I was going to start a thread to all who have this chin to let them know about the weak spots in the plastic! I would hate for this to happen someone else!!!!!

Lets just say I was sick when it happened!!!!

I have had lots of help from this forum and so when I actually have something to help someone else from suffering my misery I am gonna say it lol

---------- Post added at 08:41 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:39 PM ----------

I am also in the process of making a aluminum skid play to put on the underside to help with scraping to again give it a little more strength!

I have to keep it as light as possible and I want to make mounted to the bottom of the air dam I don't want it to be attached to the actual chin to avoid stress fractures! When done it will probably sit 1/4 of an inch less if not more from the chin to give it a little movement room! I don't know if it will work the way I want but hay it is worth a shot!!!! I keep ya up to date
