P0456 evap leak

Alright guys, I'm a bit puzzled by this one. My dad has a 2005 mustang gt vert and the check engine light keeps coming on for a p0456 small evap leak. We have replaced the gas cap and the fuel pump, but neither has fixed the problem. Ford dealers nor my mechanic friend have any other clue what the problem might be. Do you guys have any suggestions to find/fix the problem. Thanks guys.

If its an evap leak then it could be a vacuum line

Is there anyway to make the PCM test for evap leaks? And how would you check all the lines or what would be the fasted way?

Only way to check is at your Ford Stealer. With there Diagnostic tool. They have a smoke machine that they plug in your EVAP system and find the leak.Only thing you can check is hoses and connections. Check Purge valve make sure it is close. It is near right front inner fender well.

We actually took it to them and they told us ford had a bulletin out on that code and the remedy for it was to swap out the fuel pump. They charged a 100 diagnostic fee for that as well
