Spark plugs...

So I've heard all about the whole 2 piece spark plug issue and how they break off and well you know the rest. Did this affect the 06 gt's? If so what's the best replacement as far as reliability and performance?

Thanks a ton, would like to avoid digging spark plug parts out of my engine!

yes this did effect the 06 gts. I have one myself. The best replacements would probably be the oem ones from ford. They corrected the problem tho with the new plugs you can buy.

new but throwing in my two cents

I have been working on 4.6 and 5.4 engines for about seven years now and never had one break off..... I just use a can of penetrating oil, two squirts, loosen till it gets tight, tighten back in all the way, and then one turn back in after that when it gets tight again..... And yes, new plugs get nickle anti seize and will never have a problem again.
Bear with me guys, I am trying to build some posts so I can get that american muscle discount and get back into the mustang community....
