best gears for 10 auto gt - Mustang Evolution

best gears for 10 auto gt

currently I have the stock 3.31 gears there ok but the gears go by so fast when I put it into drive im at a 100 and the car just feels like it has nothing left what gears are good for top end many people say 373 are good but others say 410 are best for autos

If you're looking for the max performance, I would definitely do 4.10's. Of course, they'll give you the most noticeable gain, but they're not too bad on the highway either. The only reason I would suggest 3.73's is if you constantly take long trips on the highway and want better MPG.

I see but I'm going to be honest I am a teenager and Ofcourse we do street racing I need gears that will be good at top end at past 100 are 410 good for this some people say there only good till about 120 I do some what highway driving but I don't care about mpg

^Agree completly its not worth the jail time the pain n the loss you get by street racing

aaahhh man so what do you suggest I do what gears do you think will be best? I know that my 4.6 isn't gonna become a demon over just gears I know I need huge power adders for top end im just looking for something that will be past 100 when I put the gear into drive

I apologize and understand why you are upset but honestly its not literally street racing out in public we have an abandon air strip about a lil more than a mile long we have sherrifs out there just in case of fights etc we do roll ons and everything its sort of like a track but without timing I just want to point this out because there is already people getting upset at me like I said I apologize hope all of you understand

It's hillbilly drop arm racing.
Sort of like what I'm fixing to do this weekend....

the air strip is where it's at! Only real down side is there isnt an emergency crew on hand s there is at most tracks.

My vote is for 4.10's. The 4.6 isn't much of a torque monster so the most down low oomph you can get is going be your best bet.
