for more HP?

Ok I am about to run into some cash and wanna know should I throw a hurst shifter in my 06 GT or should I do something for performance. And what should I do for more power? I have a 62 mm throttle body, muffler delete with an x pipe, cai, and custom tune from my local speed shop. Any advice would help Thanks

No I don't have pullies. Been thinking about those but wasnt sure if they were worth the dough. I do hate the garbage stock shifter these cars come with but I want HP!

Udp will net you about 5-9 whp. But a short throw is amazing! My brother loves his hurst i got him for his 05 gt. quicker shifts are always good

Yeah I'd get pulleys as they do raise up some not much but they are still a gain.

Yeah i dont support your street racing if thats what you're truly doing but gears dont add hp pr torque but feel like it adds a ton and improves acceleration.

Since you said you want a short shifter im guessing you're manual and suggest 3.73

I love 410s in manuals or autos on these.
I have done over a dozen 410s and two sets of 373s
Knock half a second off your 1/4 with 410s. I run them in my manual.
373s with a supercharger IMO
I love my Hurst shifter..... click, click, click .... it can be a little of a picky bastard 2-3 sometimes, but, it gets rid of the paddling a boat feeling the stock has....

When it was new it was really touchy, tight, hard to explain....
You need this shifter to enjoy life. Just buy it.

Getting 410s is equivalent to driving home the first time you got a piece of a$$.....
Your face will hurt from smiling.

I just installed a Hurst in my GT the shifter is awesome I love it night & day difference from the stock shifter.
I'm also getting ready to order the Steeda UDP and CMD-Plugs's for my car both of these together should be worth around 15HP give or take I hope

yep and the charge motion delete plugs will add another 5-9 rwhp
same as the charge motion delete plate's from Steeda for the 05-08 but 09 the butterfly valves are built into the stock intake manifold so Steeda came up with CMD plug's dose same thing as the plate's but cost's a lot less then the CMD plate's but with same HP gain

Headers will free up some power and cams will make a big difference in performance and sound too. But a decent set of cams is about $700.
