4.10's.

I want to put 4.10's in my 05 gt. it's a manual but i do a lot of highway driving as well as the track. Does it really hurt your mpg's that bad?

I preach 410s up and down on manual and auto....
I have driven my car from Pittsburgh to myrtle beach every year since I did it....
When you baby it and conserve, my car needs less downshifts, etc.
I am between 1/2mpg and zero mpg difference than with 331 gears.....
I don't even keep track anymore, its so minimal of a difference.

The 93 tune hurt my gas mileage way way worse, i switched to 87 just cause I was racing or driving hard and my Avg mpg went from 15.6 to 19.5

410s accelerate faster throughout the rpm range.
From 1000 rpm to red will be quite more noticeable than 5000 to red, but still accelerates more quickly.

4.10's should be the minimum for any S197. I have factory 3.73's in my Bullitt and am seriously considering going to a 4.30.
