Looks fine. Those sumis look bulge already. I'm running 245 on stock wheels and they don't really look bulge but the don't stretch.

Like the sidewalls don't seem stiff.

That's how all tires used to look in the old days before someone decided that the wheels have to be two inches wider that the contact surface. Looks good.

Hell Yeah! I put 275s on my 17x8s. You are fine as far as bulge. Mine bulges more and I have pushed around corners with no problem. Did you put them on the back only?

They do great for me as a dd and I would say 255/45/17 front and 275/45/17 in back if you want wider. But it's not gonna be a big difference I would do 255/45/17 all around and save money and be able to rotate them.

I had 235 nitto 850 all season, sucked. These are cheap and they actually hook good for my, and I have 410s. A trailblazer SS found out last night first hand that my mustang rolls out ha

Nice! I will wait to run a staggered set up until I buy 18s for the rear, appreciate the input!

IMO for performance, that's too much bulging over the edge.

It isn't the tires, it's the size wheels you're putting them on. Also, some tires are wider than others despite having the same 275 measurement. Don't always trust that as a true tire width measurement as 275 on a Nitto is more narrow than a 275 on a Hankook as an example.

My roommate has 265 Hankook RS3's that are wider than my NT555 275s. You need to make sure of tire height and width on the manufacturers website before buying.

That's a nice set up! I'm now torn between getting a set of 18's and running this size, or doing what MavyMav did with his 17's. Either way, thanks for showing it can be done!

That actually looks really good. I perceive that bulge as making the tires look even fatter. Good job!

I might actually go this route, as the stock 18" bullits are very nice wheels.
