should i buy it

I found a 1990 foxbody for sale and the guy wants 4500$ should I get it. It's got Mickey Thompson 26x11.5x15 et streets on 15" draglites with skinnys in the front, gt40x aluminum heads, shorty headers with flowmaster super 40 true dual h pipe, elderbrock vavle covers, jr cold air intake, gt40 upper and lower intake, distributor and new plug wires, short throw shifter, built t5 transmission 5 speed, always run synthetic oil with new brakes new studs new gas tank filter and lines and prolly has more that I can't think of. But the engine was built by David McMurtry and has about 30000 miles on it and a brand new top end. The engine and trans is the best things in the car. It was my project car and I'm in the process of building it but I've changed my mind cause I work in another state and work 60 hrs a week so I don't have the time for it and I'm getting rid of her and my truck to get a new car. It does need a paint job if you want it but it doesn't look bad waxed up and you could redo the interior but that's also if you want cause it's not bad
this is what he guy told me about it....what should I do...is it worth it

Ask him down if he needs to sell it then he will have to negotiate.

I'm confused. He wants $4500 and you want to offer $5000?

I think you're locked in at $4500 man. Lol. If you told him you're willing to pay $5K, then you turn around and lowball his $4500....he's not going to budge. Unless there is something wrong with the car. I would test drive it before you agree to anything. You never know, that Fox could crap out a month or so after you buy it. Then you're out $4500 you could've spent on mods for the stang you already have.

strong negotiation skills...just spend that $4500 on your existing car...he's way too eager to sell if he replies with $500 less than what you offered...wow
