rotating assembly questions

so planning months ahead in advance and wanting to know what everyone recommends for a rotating assembly? I am not sure if I want to go forged or not. I am really just rebuilding the short block, I plan to install cams and keep it simple. If I go supercharger later on I will be ready for it. Any companies to go to or stay away from? All of the tooling and machine work I will do, I have the capability and machines to do so, the block line bored and all the extra odds and ends as well.
