Used to start with the cross member in the front, but now i don't have enough clearance (lowered it) for that so i do one side right behind the front wheel, and then the other... Then for the rear i do it from the diff. Some people say don't do it from the diff, others say you can. I've never heard of any cases of anything happening so i do it from there.

It should be, just make sure you do the jack points on the sides. I have a feeling it won't be able to lift the rear from the diff.

I've been using my scissor jack ( the one that came with the mustang) since my floor jack crapped out on me. it'll work just fine. it'll just take longer to get the car in the air haha. I don't believe you can lift from the diff with it either.

I lowered my car too and I have plenty of floor jacks (3) but didn't have low spec jack, so I just put the car in the shop, use 12x12 3/4" MDF that I had left over from box building and drive on it, and wallah! perfect clearance!

Start off with my race ramps and ramp extensions. (Using a low profile floor jack)

and then I jack using the bracing under the engine and place jacks under it.

I use the jack points under the rocker panels on the frame as notes in the owner's manual with a jack and jack stands.
