Will this work? On there site they say you don't have to upgrade internals?

Just stay low boost. And intercool it to be safe

Procharger on stock internals?

Haven't heard any final results yet, but watched a guy install one on an otherwise stock 2013 5.0 a couple of weeks ago complete with intercooler and he was very confident.

I saw a guy install one on motorz looks easy and fun, cheapest route for reliable big power I think, plus i think boost stays off under 2500 rpms

You'll be fine with the stock internals as long as your engine is in good working order. Keep the boost 10#'s or under intercooled and have fun.
Non intercooled, keep it to around 5 or 6#s.

On average, a centrifugal supercharger pending on the intake and cam(s) will usually kick in around 3000 rpms, give or take. Whereas a roots style or positive displacement will have a broader hp and tq curve along the whole rpm range. Hence why people say a Procharger or Vortech wont "kick" in until 2500 rpms. If you look and compare the dyno graphs between the two styles, you can see what I mean. Procharger actually came out with a multiple gear ratio blower that is supposed to keep the boost up when shifting into a lower rpm range

90% of people that use a procharger is on a stock motor... these motors can handle just shy of 450 safely.
