Recent Underhood Dress Up

This colored wire conduit was a pretty cheap mod that I threw on this past week. It only cost me about $30 including shipping and then about 2 hours to clean and replace everything. It got plenty of attention at the local cruise in I just went to and so I'm showing you all.

Re: Recent Underhood Dress Up

All the conduit comes stock black on my car and I just wanted a bit more color because I enjoy showing off the supercharger. I eventually want chrome fluid caps and valve covers. I'd like to change over to blue radiator hoses. Give it a nice all American look with red, white (chrome), and blue.

Re: Recent Underhood Dress Up

so Im confused as to why your only throwing down 400 ponies. Arent the stock GT's 300? That supercharger should have given you at least 140 according to specs. Whats the deal?

Re: Recent Underhood Dress Up

I'm only running the minimum 4.0" pulley which gives 3.5 psi boost. Also, the S197 GT's put down 300 bhp (brake horsepower) which is the number before the estimated 15% mechanical loses through the drivetrane. That is 400 rwhp (rear wheel horsepower) which is the actual number the pavement feels and can be equated to 470 bhp.
