Snapped exhaust manifold stud

Anyone know the easiest way to remove this? My dad has been drilling at it for almost like 2 and half hours and it isnt even half way through.

I would drench it with some liquid wrench, let it soak in, then either get a set of vise grips on it if you have enough stud to gab or try and easy out or reverse drill bit.

I spent about a hour trying to drill one out. Ended up leaving it & getting one of these.If this is the stud you broke.The Hush Studfix

It doesn't look like it would make a very good seal. How is it? Have you been using it for a long time?
