Floor Mat Hook, Driver side

OK, I asked this question on another forum, and no one answered. Here's my situation:
The retaining hook for my floor mat has torn loose from the carpet. I can't bolt it to the floor, as there are fuel lines directly under its proper position.

So, does anyone have an idea on how to replace it in the correct position so my floor mat stays in place? Other ideas?

Thanks!

I would just get a similar hook and glue it to the carpet or floor board with some proper cement.

Thanks for the idea. The hook is actually in good shape. It's just the little flap of carpet they clamp it to has torn loose. I just want to fix it in a solid, reliable, quality way.

Sew some Velcro to the back of the mat.

my 04 f150 had the same problem, so now i'm constantly pulling my floor mat up to prevent it from tearing the hook out of the carpet on my mustang...so damn annoying. once it's torn away, I would think gluing the hook down would be the next logical choice.
