Which satisfied you more?

I was very happy with my JLT cold air and 93 race tune from Bama on my 09 gt. I'm really thinking about getting some 4.10 gears sometime soon. So, for those of you who have 3.73 or 4.10 gears AND a cold air/tuner combo, which would you say gave you the better bang for your buck? I really felt a huge difference after my cold air/tune and I was very satisfied. Will I be even happier with 4.10s compared to the cold air/tune?

(I think I'm mainly just looking for good reasons to buy the 4.10s this week...)

Thanks guys

Hmm, this is tough! You're talking about the three best mods you can do for a 3V GT. CAI & Tune are going to pick up 25+ RWHP and 20+ RWTQ but 4.10 gears are going to be the most beneficial mod when it comes to the butt dyno.

I think you'll be just as happy, if not happier with the gains you feel from the 4.10 Gears. You're going to notice huge gains in torque and acceleration. Your car is going to be really fast 0-100, that's where the gears really shine!

I went with CAI, Tune & 3.73 gears all at once on my 2011 GT. I was speechless the first time I drove it! Let me know if you have any further questions.

Tuner and gears are the best bolt on you can do imo. They make it feel much quicker.

Cool. Thanks everyone. At first, I just really didn't expect too much of a difference from the cold air and tune, but I was wrong. It really made the car much quicker. If most of you are saying 4.10s are more fun/more beneficial when compared to a tune/cold air, I am pretty excited.

I think I'll be ordering them soon

I'm glad to hear we were able to help you out with your decision. Believe me, you won't be disappointed with the gears!

Let me know if you need any further assistance. Also, let us know how you like the gains when you throw the gears in!
