Circle d is in Houston. A few hours from you... So that way you get the manufacturer of the TC that know their stuff to install on site right.

That's what I'd do if I still lived in Houston.

I don't live in Houston /:
I just need a good stock-alike torque converter to withstand my 850hp rated transmission.
Was suggested to get 2400 stall but couldn't find much on which brand made them good.
But one company quoted me $1,000 to sell me one...??

B&m
BMR

Which is good brand to get a torque converter from? Without getting ripped off.

Yes... I said you were a few hours away... (Austin is 2 hours, 50 minutes to Circle D's door)

CIRCLE D makes good torque converters. And installs them while you wait if you make an appointment.

If you don't want to drive a few hours, then just buy one online somewhere. I'm sure there are plenty of decent shops in Austin.

Oh I see. Sorry, just little bit stressed at the moment.
Funny how times you look under hood after a while you realize you gotta spend more $...
