Check the code on the driver's side door jamb. If they've been changed, I can tell you how to figure it, but you have to Jack the rear up.

If you think its been changed from stock and want to calculate it. You need to know tire height along with rpm and speed in order to calculate it. Just measure ground to center of wheel and double it. Then you can use a gear ratio calculator online.

If you are running an Automatic it is most likely a 3.31 (this is what I currently have and your RPM is exactly what I am running at the same MPH).

Take a look under the car at the rear axle. There is a tag on the axle with the gear ratio.

From what I understand from reading some of the posts here the automatics are 3.31 and the manuals are 3.55 standard from the factory.

I could be wrong, but slide under the car and check the rear axle for the tag. Also as someone else has said it will be listed as a code on your door tag.

Premium packaged GTs came with 3.55s I think and it was also a option.

Cars could be order with different ratios check the tag on the rearend and the door tag. I would say you have 3.31s in it. I have a gt premium and its a standard with 3.31s. My friend has a gt just the bace model and it has 3.55s in it

GEARS

My 07 GT. Originally came with 3.31 Gears on my Automatic. I've since changed it to 4.10 Gears, and it's great.

3:31, mine is a 5 speed & that's what my rpm was at 70mph. Your differential should have a sticker that says your gear, mine did when I swapped them with 4:10

It's SoSo, Yes I noticed a difference. It does seem a little better in the city driving, more so than the HWY.

3.73 would not be a bad choice, and not that much different than the 4.10. But you probably will get a better gas mileage.

Yes. Maybe even 4.10s, just drive 60mph'ish and you will be good. The thrill when you get on the pedal will be even better.

NO, If you have 355, then it does not make any sense getting 3.73. Too close of gears for a noticeable difference. Go with 4.10. Seriously, from 3.55 to 3.73 you will not notice anything, just a Lighter Wallet.

Would 3.90s be good since I got 3.55, I really need some advice cause I've been thinking about going higher on the gears.

Why not go 4.10's? From what I've read the mpg difference isnt as bad as people say, when I switched to 3.73's I didnt drop really from my stockers.
I think 3.90's have more whining problems (what ive read from here but not sure)
