Type of oil

This afternoon I went to Jiffylube to get my cars oil changed I have an 09 Mustang GT with 23,000 miles and they told me that I should go with a full synthetic blend and I didn't know if I should because I heard its bad to go from conventional oil to synthetic so I went half and half blend and the next oil change I'm going to go full synthetic. What are your opinions on it? Is it worth to go full synthetic or no?
