Project

So I just bought a must gt 06 I've done the exhaust work but other than the intake what else could I do to increase hp without busting the wallet? I heard bolt ons but how much of a power gain would I get

Cai and tune and gears are the first mods to do

4:10's, cai & tune. Those 3 mods are not too expensive & will probably give you the most gains.

If your worried about mileage go with a 3.73

Okay 3.73 it is, and another quick question, so it's a 06 gt with 60k miles on it it was all I could afford at the time would it even be worth dropping money into it to make it quicker cause I'm in the fence about it I wanna get her up to about 400 rwhp but just skeptical, that it might be a waste seeing that the new trend is 5.0's

The 5.0 is a great engine but 400hp you can do

It would take a engine rebuild but yeah not a problem. I've seen 3v with more hp than the new gt500 forced induction

I've need seen a 05-09 gt out do a gt500 especially a '13 model

Steeda makes the Q650 check it out on YouTube I know it doesn't have 662 hp but it would out perform a gt500 with ease

I beat stock GT500's on nitrous. Never raced a 13 though, I already know they'll whoop me.

Im at 470 hp but not natural I beat a zr1 in the quarter

So I have just order a top end kit set me back about 4k but the set up was dynoed at 400 hp but any suggestion on what to do after i.e suspension, clutch, or anything

Wow the heads must be a lot then. Whats the flow on them? And im not sure if that will be 400 hp. Maybe at the crank but it shall be very close. I have the high output whipple and its at 470 to the wheels and I promise there is nothing like something pulling you back like that lol. Best feeling ever!
